The QD-4 speaker is a portable bluetooth speaker concept. Enclosed in a rugged aluminum frame for ultimate durability, it combines a minimalist aesthetic with solid construction. The simple interface provides all necessary information at one glance. Dedicated tactile buttons allow for easy interaction & usability.
The aluminium cover glides over the LCD screen to protect it and reveales the integrated grabhandle. The grab handle makes the QD-4 extra portable, allowing you to bring them with you where ever you want.

Frame Design
The frame forms a three-dimensional rectangular prism. Aluminium profiles connect at the corners with 3-axis angle fasteners, creating a simple yet robust skeletal structure. The design emphasizes geometric symmetry with angular cuts perfectly aligning & forming a sharp & clean visual hirarchy that enhance the overall modern and industrial look.
Structural Exo-Frame
Fully assembled, the structural exo-frame creates a sturdy and rigid structure and protects the internal electronics. Beveled edges and rounded corners give the frame a refined appearance, reducing sharp angles while maintaining its structural integrity. The overall design embodies a minimalist and modern industrial aesthetic, emphasizing functionality, clean lines, and simplicity.
Simple UI
Properly sized tactile buttons complement the simple UI. Boiled down to the essential functions, the buttons are positioned below the LCD screen. The minimalist display provides a sophisticated look while keeping all essential functions at your fingertips. The blend of digital and physical elements not only enhances usability but also adds a distinctive visual aesthetic.
